 Alan E. Kazdin is John M. Musser
Professor of Psychology at Yale University and Director of
Yale's Parenting Center and Child Conduct Clinic. He was
the 2008 President of the American Psychological Association and
is the
author of many professional-audience books on child
psychology and behavior published in dozens of languages. A
recent profile in the Yale Alumni Magazine says, "When your
